The Monterey County Herald has an immediate opening for a part-time (22 hours per week) warehouse driver. Tasks include counting, stacking and bundling multiple publications for carrier delivery and driving a company van to a Salinas distribution site to drop bundles.
Valid CA drivers license and clean DMV record are required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products. Position requires working on cement floor, ability to bend and lift bundles of newspapers up to 25 pounds, skills driving a cargo van.
Shifts begin at 11:30 pm, Wed-Sunday nights. $15 per hour.
